Grub-gfxboot from source doesn't work

I have patched grub to support gfxboot, compiled it, installed. But when i try to use any of the themes available on the net, it says for some of them that the format is unknown, for others - too large file. But the same themes work in AntiX install with grub installed from apt.

Where can i get really working grub-gfxboot source code tarballs & patches?

Code:
grep "gfxmenu" /boot/grub/stage2
Binary file /boot/grub/stage2 matches
unless the above occurs your build will not work.

I have a wiki here
http://www.sidux.com/index.php?modul...ka&tag=Gfxmenu
