"GRUB Geom Error" on boot

I just installed Red hat Enterprises Linux 5.5 onto my Laptop (HP pro - compaq nx7400)which had Windows XP Pro already on it. I have two partitons, each OS has their own partition. After installing Red hat Enterprises Linux 5.5, this comes up when I try to boot. I need help. Thanks.

Something went wrong with your bootloader installation. I would suggest you boot the Red Hat (or any Linux) CD, google "bootinfoscript", go to the site and download the script after reading the instructions and then run it. If you don't understand the output (results.txt file), post it here.

Red Hat 5.5 is not the most current release. If you are not paying for it, you may be better off using the free version, CentOS. If you are paying, you would be better off contacting Red Hat for help.
