Grub Error 22 Help

Ok, so I have windows vista as my normal OS and thought it would be a great idea to try linux Ubuntu

So i installed it fine, everything worked, but then i decided I wanted to go back to vista.. So tried to delete the partition and restore windows from factory settings

So basically im stuck at grub error 22 without being able to get to the boot option screen at start up

Please help as it's driving me crazy

Insert windows recovery CD and from the recovery console run fixmbr (fix the master boot record -> from where the first executable is loaded on disk.)

Hi, it seems it's been renamed/removed since XP... try taking a look at this (you might want to try the GUI way first...)
Apparently, the fixmbr command has also been removed, you'll have to execute : "Bootrec.exe /FixMbr" (if you use the command prompt way)
