codes".) This condition usually indicates a media failure or a geometry
mismatch (e.g. bad disk parameters, see section "Disk geometry").

As you had problems with both boot loaders, probably you have a disk geometry error. If you need further help, please inform your disk size, if your bios does some complaint of it, and the setup your bios gives to it.
