grub, entry for 'boot from CDROM'?


it seems grub can not boot from cdrom. it has (hd0) (fd0),but no (cd0).
is there some patch for it?
if it could, then i can choose 'boot from cdrom' in the menulist.

its my understanding cdrom is currently not possible for grub but grub2 under development may offer a bigger range of device support for U know what.
