GRUB and Missing Templates
Any ideas on this? I have a RedHat 8.0 server on very good SuperMicro hardware using an Adaptec/DPT hardware RAID as the boot device and GRUB as the boot loader. For some reason kernel installs do NOT automatically write entries into /etc/grub.conf So I figured grub was broken and did an upgrade install on it to insure all files were there and then installed a kernel file. I get a "grubby" error about no suitable template found. I've searched newsgroups and other places some to no avail. Any ideas? Thanks in advance...
