Grub adding modules to grub2 possible?

Hi
I've noticed grub2 has modular structure. Is it possible to insert other Kernel modules into grub? Or can write my own modules to insert into grub?

Kernel modules and grub modules are different. But, yes, you can add modules to grub. It work like in the kernel, modules can be separated, or built in. Some need to be built in, like the file system hosting the other modules. There is already a wide range of modules to choose from.
