Grub
I just installed slackware on a second HD and i have grub runnning as my boot manager under RH9. How do i eliminate the windows entry in grub (windows is gone, whoo hoo) and add slackware so i have the option of booting RH9 or Slackware? thanks. :)

edit the /boot/grub/grub.conf file

well yea i know that much, but what do i put there? I can delete the windows stuff but what do i put so i have the option to boot slack?

Oh geez, I guess I misunderstood when you asked how to get rid of the windows entry or perhaps you have had a major epiphany in the last few minutes, lol.
Anyway, check out this site on grub: http://www.geocities.com/cyberkabila/main/grub.htm and see a sample on my guide: http://members.rogers.com/ctmlinux/helpfultips.html (near the bottom) adding Slack will require you to tell it where it can find the kernel and the name of the kernel.
