all come to the front ???
something IS going to have to be on top of something else .The tool box is auto on top of the main( drag/drop) window (GIMP 2.6.2)
or do you mean the "dockable dialogs "( like layers) keeping it on top of the image
I mean say I have minimised all the windows, if I click on the picture, tools, or other window it'll restore all of them. I hate having to click on all three to get GIMP to the front of all my other windows.
what version of gimp are you using .On Gimp 2.6 the gimp tool box ( and other windows)will always end up on top of the main window if that one is unminimized .They are always on top no matter what .
the only one that would not is a second or third photo
you must be using gimp 2.4 .You could r-click on the window frames and select " always on top".
other than " always on top" i don't know if there is a way to get a gtk program to do that on kde
Yeah its annoying you can't make it all act like its a single window... I looked at GIMPshop but that is way too outdated. I don't think I'll use it too much longer, from what I can see it isn't as good as PaintShop Pro, so I might install that with Wine.
