Installing the gramps program on Linux mint 17.2 rafaela gave no problem.
The main windows are ok but the windows produced by the tools have a problem.
I cannot see the produced information because the line containing the data is not high enough and i cant stretch this line down to see more.
I attach a screenprint and hope you can see whats wrong.

Is the full line visible if the window is in full screen mode? Or if the bottom edge of the window is dragged down until the window is higher than wide?
Back when Fedora 22 came out, I saw this problem in Gnumeric. It was apparently related to the ui construction in Glade. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1033827 It's definitely fixed in Gramps 4.1.3-1 on Fedora (and in Gramps-4.2.0-dfsg-1 in Ubuntu 1510 development). I'm not going to recommend grabbing a more recent version of gramps from the ubuntu repository, but if you decide to do that, here's the URL: http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/poo...erse/g/gramps/
Moving the slider at the right side down makes no difference, the line scrolls down but it stays small.
Also stretching the window down or maximize the window makes no difference, the line with the info stays small.
So I will try the newest Gramps release. But have to make backups first, otherwise there will be perhaps a problem if i downgrade to my current version.
