GPDF failing bonobo activation


When I start GPdf and I try to open a PDF doc I get the following error:

Bonobo-WARNING **: Activation exception 'Failed to activate 'OAFIID:GNOME_PDF_Control

can anyone help?

any help is appreciated,

fixed

nevermind, took care of it. Apparently gpdf didn't like being installed in /usr/local so far away from everything else gnome (in /usr) ... installing to /usr fixed the problem.
