Got UT2004 demo to load with wine....

but all that came up was the splash screen that said demo and had the logo then it said I had some error with display... I running off of my x server right now... I have the driver for my geforce video card but when I go to install it, it says I have to exit my x server or something.. how do i do that? if i get that driver installed do you think that will allow me to play the game and load the 3D aspects?

Why run the UT2004 demo through Wine, are you a glutton for punishment?? There is a linux version out there that works perfectly on my Fedora, Gentoo and Arch-Linux distros. Maybe try the Linux version.

Maybe he had the same thing happen to him that happpened to me....file got corrupted on the download. I'm just going to buy it instead of trying the damn demo.

to exit x:
edit you inittab and make it start in runlevel 3. if you havemore questions(I have to run)
