Google Talk Plugin and Firefox
 

I am not sure if this is a Firefox issue or something else. I have installed the Google Talk Plugin. It works fine in Chrome and Chromium. However it seems that Firefox is not finding it.

In Firefox, if I go into gmail > settings > chat it says I need to install the plugin.

I am using Ubuntu 64 with the Firefox that comes with it.

I have searched but can't seem to find much on this other than people complaining that it does not work for them, though little to no answers.
