google spreadsheet really slow

I've test driven google spreadsheet at work (IE 6, win 2000) and really liked it. Now I've tried it in firefox 1.5.0.6 on suse 10.1 and it is really slow ! Then I tried on my powerbook g4 867Mhz and performance is just fine.

Is it just the SUSE package I am using or does anyone experience the same thing on other distros ?

just hit me after posting. I checked the nvidia driver and it was not loaded. Re-installed it and enabled it in Sax and google spreadsheet performance is now fine.
