Hello!

I'm new here, and fairly new to Linux, so please bear with me. I experienced the same X-server crash with GoogleEarth, which obviously is not just GoogleEarth, but any "glx" application.
Quote:

If you've applied an update to X, you need to re-run the Nvidia installer. The X updates "fix" the changes made by the Nvidia installer. When you run a GLX application after that happens, X crashes.
My question is: how do I do this? I am running Fedora Core 6, and I use the nvidia drivers from Livna.org. There is no "nvidia installer" to re-run, so how do I accomplish the same effect?

Thanx in advance,
Vince
