Question Google Earth error.

I'm getting a network error on launching Google Earth that I installed a few days ago. Not a new error, more a never worked one... A screenshot of the message is attached. Anyone else seen it and know of a fix? I had a look at the link the message suggests will provide a fix but no luck!

By the way, I'm behind a NAT router with Guarddog disabled.

For reference, this is now fixed as I installed lib32nss-mdns following a tip on another forum for what seemed to be a related network connection problem.
