Angry Google.co.in gets displayed in different regional languages

Firefox 3.6.8
OpenSuse 11.2

Some days back it used to display the text in one regional language and now it is in some other regional language.

I am fed up !!!!
I want it in English.

I did not change any settings. See the screen-shot attached !

Thanks for replying,

I did that when Google automatically started displaying the text in one regional language. Till few days every thing went OK and now again it has started displaying the text in another regional language

Hi,

you could check the settings under in Edit->Preferences, content tab->Choose preferred language ...
in the same tab you could also check your settings for default font.
Under View->character encoding-> auto detect-> OFF

I am not 100% sure if this will get rid of the problem, but those are the places where I would start looking.

Hi,

glad you solved it. If it is just a cache problem then it might be an option to activate
Clear history when firefox closes under preferences->privacty tab?
Under settings you can choose what should be cleared and what not.

Just an idea.

But I am not happy now. Pressing Ctrl+shift+Del has changed my fonts. I tried to change them back as they were before but failed, now I am seeing these horrible fonts !!

Edit->Preferences, content tab
click the advanced button for font settings.

There are also some settings under View->character encoding.

Hopefully one of those will fix your fonts.

Before your post I had looked up all these settings. I changed my fonts but now they are not as sweet as they were before because I do not remember what fonts I had !

Thanks to both of you for following up !

Hi,

Are your (google) cookies periodically cleared by any chance? All the preferences are stored locally.

Hope this helps.
