What distros are you people USING? It works just fine under Fedora 11. I still use Firefox most the time, but Chrome does run.

surprise surprise version 6.0.408.1 dev actually works. rather than screw it up by importing my Firefox settings, I installed the Xmarks extensions to get my firefox bookmarks.

$ apt-cache policy google-chrome-unstable
Installed: 6.0.408.1-r47574
