Good method to convert a DOCX to Latex (TeX) with images?

Hello,

I would like to convert a DOCX to Latex (TeX) with images.

There is a way which is pdftohtml and then pandoc to bring it to tex. It works not really since the text if full of ~ ... and xml.

Another way is to libreoffice document.docx, and then to "save as" to html. The next step is to use pandoc from html to TeX/Latex.
Well, it works better but the includegraphics is corrupted.

Would you have any better solutions/ideas?

Not sure. But a docx file is really a zip file. Inside there are lots of XML files, and also the the original images as files. So you can unzip it and look for PNG and JPG files. If you get the text correct, you can probably just replace the corrupted images with the originals.
