good free fonts out there?


hello..

i'm using verdana now which is imported from my windows partition..

are there good free fonts available?


by the way, i don't quite like this anti-alias in galeon/mozilla
can i turn this off somehow?

thanks a lot..
i spent like 10 hours setting up(mostly mozilla/galeon) slack9.0 putting off exam preparation
which i don't see much benefit of upgrading from 8.1
galeon 1.3.3 seems a bit slower than 1.2.*


i got too lazy to google =)


i'm so sleepy now and can't tell the modification removed AA or not..
i'll post sometime how the modification went

corefonts.sf.net are the MS fonts, which are nice.

The Gnome foundation negotiated some new fonts for us, which should be available soon, really nice high quality ones
