Just a thought:
Do you have the kernel sources and compilers installed in grlm ? |

now when in terminal cd into /home/grml/oss oss being the folder you created run /usr/src/oss*/configure and print what that output is, if it's complaining about the .h files again install your linux headers i think somebody just posted about that? once they are installed try everything again. before you run the configure though you need to run 'rm * -R' in the /home/grml/oss dir to clear it of all files, you'll have to keep doing this as trial/error untill config completes =( [edit] what distro are you using? OOOO I just read, debian right??? run synaptic, search for linux-image, figure out what kernel image your using and install it's appropriate headers!!! If you want something easy you can also do this: apt-ge tinstall module-assistant m-a prepare now run configure!!! that should work either way you go about it. Oh if I would have thought about the debian part before. If you have apt-get problems or the headers can't be found give me the error, that's just simple apt configur stuff |
