Good easy-to-use music software?

Hi

The one thing I miss about running Windows was Rebirth - are there any similar apps for Linux?

I can't read or write music - I just want to twiddle knobs for meaty basslines.

You may want to take a look here. The list is a little bit out of date, I guess, but it's a first start. Maybe you like to take a look at freebirth as a (sort of) replacment for Rebirth.

Have fun!
