Good audio player with bookmarking capabilities

Hi I am learning a foreign language and when I listen to audio files, it's nice to be able to bookmark a spot in the audio file in case it you need to listen to the same spot a few times to understand what they are saying.

Does anyone know of a linux audio player that has this bookmarking capability? On windows I use Sanako Media Lite, a program my school bought for the windows computers there. If anyone knows something like that I'd appreciate it they could let me know.
