i have tried about 4 or 5 different video editing tools in linux, and none of them are half as good as Premiere, so stick with dual boot if you do a lot of video editing and want to run Linux.

.

in this case it has little to do with linux vs OSx, and everything to do with effective tools for the job. there are NO video editing tools in the Linux world that can compete with Adobe Premiere.

kino does not cut it
cinnerella is pathetic
and the other few off name software tools for video editing are not even as good as iDVD from the iLIFE suite for OSx and the iDVD tool is rather pathetic video editing tool.

so the bottom line here is there are no Linux tools that compare with Windows or OSx for video editing.

h311 id even be more then willing to shell out the bucks to BUY a Linux vs of Premiere so i would not have to use Windows. sadly my MACs are not as strong as my PC and thus it is better performance and rendering times.
