Question Gnutella plugin for giFT is not working.

I have giFT running with the fasttrack plugin and Apollon for the UI but i cant get the gnutella plugin to work. Its listed in my list of plugins along with the openFT and fasttrack. .the fasttrack plugin works fine but neither of the others are working. I've repeated gift-setup to make sure i did all of that right and the .so files are in the right place. . /usr/lib/giFT and the .la files are there also. And Yes I have them all enabled in the Apollon settings. But they never connect. .I only get kazaa results when i search. Any Ideas?

Have you checked the ~/.giFT/giftd.log file to see if it gives any clues? You could also run netstat -tap to see what connections are established by giftd.

BTW it's considered bad form to bump a thread after less than 7 hours. Best to wait at least 24.

Enjoy!

run "giftd -v" and you can each the protocol specifc messages, most likely you've not told gift.conf to run it in the first place.
