Gnumeric: Middle click doesn't work

I am using KDE and fedora 5, but I like the gnome spreadsheet gnumeric, so I use it. However, I can't copy and paste using the middle click button. I can copy and past using the CTRL+C and CTRL+V, but not by highlighting the cells and middle clicking to another cell. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
