GnuCash & Quicken Files not compatible

I'm running the 2008 version of Intuit's Quicken on Windows XP, This version of Quicken uses different file extensions then what is offered by GnuCash for import. Is there an up graded GnuCash?

Check what version of GnuCash you are currently running. Check it against the current released version here:Current Version.

You may need to download the source files and compile them for yourself in order to have the latest version.

Maybe you know this but you have to export the data in quicken in qif before importing them in gnucash. Can't use the qfx files!
