GNU nano and visudo strange display behavior
I am running Gentoo Linux 3.17.7 x86_64. After the install I noticed some strange behavior from nano and visudo when opening a file. This occurs in mate desktop environment as wall as the standard console before starting X. When I open a file nano scrolls text on screen making it impossible to view a file. Ocassionally the output will stop showing the reguarly file but when I attempt to enter a command or type the display starts scrolling text again. Some of the output looks like:
Code:
= FALSEalias specification parse_kbinput(): get_key_buffer(): key_buffer_len = 1c_key = FALSE, esget_key_buffer(): key_buffer_len = 1 14ey = FALSE parse_kbinput(): kbinput = 258, meta_key = FALSE, funparse_kbinput(): get_key_buffer(): key_buffer_len = 1c_key = FALSE, escapes = 0, byte_digits = 0, retval = 14

I am really not sure what the probelm is here. I have tried re-emergeing nano with no sucess. Any Ideas? I am using GNU nano version 2.3.2 and visudo version 1.8.11p1
