I'm trying to get Gnome Meeting to work as well.

Which version of Gnome Meeting are you using ?

Chris

The description seems to mean that all is working fine.
So what is the problem?

Sylvain.
Does your Sound Card (or your sound card drivers) support Full Duplex Mode? Basicallty, this allows sound to both go out, and come in (for lack of a better explanation) and is required to send voice through a microphone.

Hi guys

I solved my problem.

I needed a soundcard that could perform full duplex.

I had problems with video, but no voice, etc.
The end result was that using a 56k dialup link there was
insufficient bandwidth to allow simultaneous voice and video.
You really need broadband.

Either turn off the video, or reduce the voice bandwidth.

There is a test site on the reflector that has a TV card
as the source for the destination client that you can use
for testing. John Stronn I think.

Hope that helps.

Regards Chris.

PS. You also need to setup your firewall for the necessary
TCP and UDP ports. See the www site.
