GNOME transparency
Hey question:
say I have a web browser window open. Maybe under it, but not being used I have another browser window, a folder, etc. Can I make these unused items transparent automatically? If so what is the best way to do so. Thank you. |

Hmm..I cant get Xgl to work--any simpler ideas?

XFCE and KDE both have transparency effects. The only way to get true transparency with Gnome is to use XGL/Compiz or just wait for the new Gnome (in about 5 months). From what I hear, it is supposed to be able to use transparency.
I just use XFCE. It is lighter, and much prettier. |
