gnome-terminal default geometry
GNOME 2.6.1
How to change default geometry for gnome-terminal window ? Is there some X-resource option like for xterm ? Using command line option --geometry is dirty and doesn't work f.E. when I open new terminal window from current(Shift+Ctrl+N) it's size is back to 80x24 :( Thx in advance |

Hello,
A late answer but I had the same problem today and found this open thread. In the properties of the launcher, you have to specify 'geometry=140x40' and the terminal will have this resolution. -- free_ouyo |
