GNOME snap zones?
Does GNOME support snap zones in any manner? As KDE does
Thanks in advance. michae| |
You mean controlling the distance at which windows lock to each other or the desktop?
If so then this is a function of the WM in use, not the desktop environment. Metacity (the gnome default) does not support these, but you can always use another WM such as Sawfish which probably does (or even kwin i suppose). |
Thanks for the information. It answers my question. :)

One more question
Could you referrence me to an explanation of how to change the WM (I believe I selected both Metacity and Sawfish during installation)? Or if it's simple enough, could you provide one?
I know it's a XF86Config change, but I'm not familiar. Thanks again. epitome |
