Gnome "Search for Files..." not into hidden directory
I noticed that the Gnome search tool won't look into hidden directories. I looked at the advanced options tab, but nothing mentioned hidden directories. Anyone else notice this, or is it just me? (If it is just me, do you have any suggestions?)
Thanks,
Max

if the directories are hidden from the user using the
search tool, they shouldn't be visible.
search as a user that can see everything.

I was searching for files within my home directory.
Logged in as 'family', I was searching for a png file in /home/family/.themes folder. When that didn't work I copied one to my home directory and the search tool worked as expected. I tried the 'find' command and it found everything.
