Gnome Panel Question

Hey everyone,

I am running Dropline Gnome on Slackware 8.1
I'm wondering if anyone knows of a way to tint the transparency of the gnome panel (2.2.0) All there is in the panel configuration is just transparency, no tint option. I've been googling, but can't seem to find a patch, or even documentation on it. I know it's possible because I've seen a few screenshots of users that have theirs tinted like this one
