Gnome Nautilus compile failed in [nautilus-printer.lo]

Hi there:

While emerging gnome on gentoo box, I got this compile error:

Nautilus-printers.c:857: error: too few arguments to function 'gnome_cups_ui_init'

Make[3]: *** [nautilus-printers.lo] Error 1

Has anyone also had this? is there a way to fix it?

Many thanks

CHUN

Unfortunately I have no solution to your problem ... but ironic as the universe tends to be sometimes i got the inverse Error...

nautilus-printers.c: In function `make_printers_view':
nautilus-printers.c:857: error: too many arguments to function `gnome_cups_ui_init'

It's also gentoo ...

I'd appreciate any suggestions

check your version of libgnomecups. gnome_cups_ui_init is a function of this library that takes a single argument ( on the version I have installed ). make sure the package you are trying to install coincides with the version of libgnomecups it requires.

when I compiled mine, I used nautilus-2.8.2 against libgnomecups 0.1.14 and it worked pretty good.

So it seems I have to wait till the ebuild for libgnomecups 0.1.14 is available.

Thank you for your help
