gnome-cpufreq-applet in KDE???

I had my amd64 box running powernowd nicely, and displayed the results on the gnome toolbar with gnome-cpufreq-applet.

Now, for other reasons, I have switched to KDE - is there an alternative KDE applicatoin that will display the CPU speed for me?

If not, i can install gnome-cpufreq-applet? but that would need to install alot of extra bulk (GTK stuff)?

hi there,

is not ked specific but gkrellm has cpu frequency plugins available.
i think karamba shall have something like that also.
if you prefer, you can use karamba/superkaramba and write a small script to read your cpu freq data.
