My desktop has been weird lately, and not quite working well.
Is there a way to like, roll back changes???
it was working perfect last week... if i could roll back about a week it would be exellent...

Have you followed a tutorial on how to do this? If so can you past the link here?

Try "compiz --replace" instead.

If you log in as another user does the desktop look OK? If so, you could remove your GNOME, compiz etc. settings to remove the "weird" behaviour.

Code:

glxinfo | grep rendering
This should tell us if you card supports the graphical effects, any way, if the answer is "No" make sure to install drivers for you card, follow an How-To, a tutorial or use google for more info... ;) Post xorg.conf, too...
