gnome-commander/krusader undefined symbol
 

[DELL; Mandrakelinux 10.1; fresh installation]

I have installed gnome-commander-1.1.6-1mdk.i586.rpm. When running it, it crashes (root or normal user). This is what i get on the Konsole:

[landroni@localhost landroni]$ gnome-commander
gnome-commander: symbol lookup error: gnome-commander: undefined symbol: _gtk_clist_create_cell_layout

The same story with krusader-1.60.0-1.mdk102.i586.rpm.
[landroni@localhost landroni]$ krusader
krusader: symbol lookup error: krusader: undefined symbol: _ZN11KMainWindow7setIconERK7QPixmap



I tried to build it from gnome-commander-1.0.1.tar.gz and krusader-1.60.0.tar.gz. I get the following error when ./configure:

Checking for X... configure: error: Can't find X includes. Please check your installation and add the correct paths!

In fact i get this error when trying to build Gnome-commander, Portos Commander (pcmm-1.0.tar.gz), or Krusader.

Any ideas are welcomed. I want to use an alternative to Konqueror and something that ressembles Total Commander.

OK. I solved it. Just installed other versions of Krusader and Gnome (from rpms)
