Gnome applications wont start after installing with garnome

When i start a gnome application i get the following message

Code:
(gnome_segv:18553): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: g_type_add_private() called multiple times for the same type
The GTK+ library installed without any problem... i can run the gtk-demo program without any problems. I can also start mozilla (compiled in de bootstrap subdirectory) without any problems.

I've looked all over but couldn't find any information concerning this error .

Does anybody hav any idea where to look?
