gnome applications menu


In KDE all I have to do to modify the icons in the start menu is right click on the button and click the edit menu button. Then I'm shown a program that lets me add, remove, and change launchers.

How do I do that in gnome 2? It won't let me change anything in there.

pretty the same way perform a right click in the menu u want to add something to then go to entire menu and click on add new item to this menu then youll see a pop up window where you can type a name the command and choose an icon for your program to add ...if you want to change icons for programs just do a right click on it and change the icon in the following pop up window

If you use Red Hat you have to enable menu-editing...

google -----> red hat menu editing gnome
