GNOME Applications Hangs in RHEL 5

Hi,

I am using RHEL 5 with minimum configuration.Recently I started with problem in Gnome applications.Some Gnome applications hangs on start and few with specific action.For e.g FireFox hangs on right click while listner couldnt start and error was "connection time out ".

kerne version is 2.6.18-53.el5xen,I have also checked with log files of X and GDM , but seems no error.I have read all posts regarding this issue, but nothing helped.

What should I do ?

You should first check Google and the relevant knowledgebases, and you'd find bug descriptions like this one:

You don't say what patch level you're running on RHEL, but you could run the updater and/or contact RedHat support (since you're paying for it with RedHat Enterprise, right???), and see what they can tell you.
