Gnome Applet problems

Ok, I'm using SuSE 9.3 and I upgraded a few components of Gnome today. Everything works except for a few of the applets. When I get into Gnome it gives me this error for most of the most basic applets (Windowlist, desktop switcher, clock) The panel encounterd a problem while loading "OAFIID:GNOME_ClockApplet".

Not sure why it does this. It gives me this error when I attempt to add these applets to a panel as well.

One more problem that doesn't seem as severe. All my icons on my panel (Mozilla, OpenOffice, etc.) are the Gnome menu icon.

I'm upgrading from 2.10 to 2.12

Ok, I have a lot of free time today so I just set the computer to do a full upgrade from 2.10 to 2.12. See if this fixes any problems.
