Gnome and what distro?


If I was to choose the gnome desktop over the kde desktop to work in, would there be one specific distro that would be more gnome friendly? I've got about 1gb of ram to work with if that makes a difference.

1G should be plenty of ram for any DM. If you like Gnome and wana keep it on the simple side try Ubuntu, Gnome is the default (and only included) DM. You can always download KDE or Fluxbox later if you get tired of Gnome of course. If your on the linux savvy side, try Gentoo.
