gnome activity window color... Where to change that?

I changed my theme, and like it very much, but when I get a new message in kopete, the window blinks but the color is so pale that Im having a hard time noticing the new message. Would it be possible to change the color of the activity windows WITHOUT changing the whole theme?

I just noticed that it is not really theme-dependent. The problem is that it flashes dark blue... then fades to a lighter blue, and comes back to dark.... You know what I mean? If I happen to look when it is light, then I won't notice that there is new activity on the program.

Anyone?
