You want to try and run gnome on windows?
> I really dont think that this is possible,
I will stand corrected if wrong.

If u dont like the windows interface you could always try changing the windows shell using proggies such as,
Talisman or Aston.

I personnally am a Talisman fan. lots of themes available.

This is not exactly what you are asking about, but you might like it anyway.
You could install cygwin and Xserver on the windows machine and connect to a linux server via Xprotocol. Xserver can be started in full screen mode and you can start gnome on the server. It will appear on your screen.
