gnome 2.8 removing menu items

I've googled this for a while, and cant find any answers.
I've recently installed gnucash using emerge (gentoo). Gnucash created a new menu item called Other. I want to removed this menu item then manual put a gnucash launcher under the office menu item.

I know how to create menu launchers but how would I delete menu items in Gnome 2.8. Gnome used to have a menu editor but I dont see it anymore.

Thanks for the help.

If you start nautilus with the command

nautilus applications:///

Then right click and delete (or if you've not enabled the delete option, move it to the wastebasket).
To edit individual entries on a menu, open up the main gnome menu, right click and choose remove this item or add new item to this menu.
