from where do I get packages of Gnome 2.8 for Slackware 9? Thanks

Rep: Reputation: 30 or try the ftp directly I believe the files are in /pub/GNOME/ Their are 2 directories you need and a 3rd you should have, I believe you need the ones under Desktop and Packages. Their is a compiler directory with all the upgrades but you can get it to work without it.
