GNOME 2.6 Compilation - XFT Error
 

Hi There,
I'm trying to compile GNOME 2.6 packages on my Fedora distro and getting this error message whenever I try to install xft package. Can somebody tell my what to do ?

Can somebody please tell me how to solve this ?

Use the RPMS instead of compiling from source. I had a big trouble doing this and ended up getting all the RPMS from http://people.ecsc.co.uk/~matt/downloads/rpms/

umm... is it just me or does anyone else see that gnome looks the same even in 2.6 on fedora? how do you change it to the screenshots that are shown on the website? i see only one panel - same as from gnome 2.4
i have all the 2.6 packages and their dependencies
