Gnome 2.4 to 2.6 , any problem?

Hi guys,

I'm using Slackware 9.1 now. And I want to upgrade my gnome 2.4 to 2.6 from the Slackware current package.
Anyone come across any problem doing so?

Hello! I've done an upgrade from 2.4 to 2.6 and had no problems with it. (I'm using Slackware 9.1 myself too) You might want to check out Dropline Gnome (here) as it has a really nice interface and the install process is very easy too. You just check the packages you want to download in the install menu and upgrade your Gnome to Dropline Gnome. (it already has the 2.6 packages) But either way, you should try out Gnome 2.6. It's great. Good luck!
