Gnome 2.4

I am currently runing Slackware 9.0, but don't want to upgrade to 9.1 yet. However, i would like to upgrade to Gnome 2.4 from the default 2.2. What packages do i need to replace, upgrade, or update to do this. I want it to go correctly the first time, because i dont feel like either re-installing, or having to rebuild gnome from scratch if it gets jacked up. Has anyone done this with Slackware 9.0 yet?

Bro - install Dropline http://www.dropline.net/gnome/

Dropline is an excellent, excellent way to keep your machine up to date. It's easy to install and will handle all the installation tasks automatically. I can't say enough good things about Dropline, give it a shot and I think you'll be stoked about it too. -- J.W.
